I first learned to code building a video game with O.H.R.RPG.C.E way back in 1998. I fell in love fast, and by the MySpace era I was elbow-deep in CSS helping friends make their profiles embarrassing in new and creative ways. It's been a wild ride since then.
Over the past decade I've grown from web designer and developer to tech director and operations manager, working across agencies in Michigan and beyond. I've scoped and shipped hundreds of projects, built internal tools that agencies still use after I've left, trained teams to excel, launched new services from scratch, and spent a lot of time being the person who sits between clients and teams making sure everyone actually understands each other.
These days I'm focused on creating my best work, bringing a technical and creative background that brings out the most a team can offer. When I'm not working, I'm sim racing with my oldest, dancing to Kendrick Lamar with my youngest, and maintaining a planted aquarium that requires more project management than most of my actual projects.
